Enterprise AI infrastructure is accelerating rapidly, signaling a shift toward full-scale automation and agentic operationalization. In lockstep, Amazon Web Services Inc. and Nutanix Inc. are spearheading a similar shift in how enterprises approach modernization, workload migrations and AI-enabled outcomes.
AWS’ Chris Sullivan and Nutanix’s Tarkan Maner discuss their partnership and enterprise AI with theCUBE.
What does this all mean for forward-thinking companies that want to harness AI’s competitive advantage in an expedient, efficient and scalable manner?
“AWS Transform brings the capability to compress the timelines of the way that we used to think about taking everything from mainframes to VMware environments to Microsoft environments,” said Chris Sullivan (pictured, left), partner sales senior leader, financial services, at AWS. “All of those environments can be addressed. For partners using those technologies, they can immediately begin to take those workloads, those data estates, think about new use cases, and build them so much faster.”
Sullivan and Tarkan Maner (right), chief commercial officer of Nutanix, spoke with theCUBE’s John Furrier at the theCUBE + NYSE Wired: AI + Cloud Leaders Media Week event, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed how AWS’ shift toward industry-specific solutions and Nutanix’s channel-first model are enabling joint customers to unlock AI-driven outcomes that were once considered impossible. AWS partners are now pushing far beyond traditional cloud migrations and integrations. Thanks to AI advancements, the entire development lifecycle — from code writing to deployment — is being compressed, according to Sullivan.
Similarly, Nutanix’s deep integration with AWS is built on a multi-year strategic agreement involving co-developed solutions, joint go-to-market efforts and tailored innovations for regulated industries. The company’s collaborative platform, Nutanix NC2 on AWS, is a standout example, offering bare-metal EC2 deployment with seamless portability and instant access to AWS’s growing AI suite, according to Maner.
“There are a lot of opportunities from an end-user competing perspective,” he said. “AI and open source are huge opportunities and risks for our customers, especially in regulated industries, especially in New York. That’s why we’re seeing a lot of interest, and both companies focus on customer, phenomenal partner intimacy. We have a differentiated offering combined with operational excellence.”
The partnership thrives on a robust channel ecosystem. With over 800 partnerships launched in the AWS AI agents Marketplace alone, Nutanix and AWS are equipping their entire market channel ecosystem to package and deliver industry-specific AI solutions.
